Schedule

A ticket, service or work order will be created when you save the Schedule page or the Sales page.  A ticket, service or work order will also be created when you select create a new ticket with this contact located at the bottom of contact information located on contact page.

It is advisable to add a title and ticket number.  (not required)

The open ticket number and customer name will appear under the calendar located in the left column.

 Schedule choices:
  • Title (May be changed anytime.)
  • Date:  A small calendar will open when you select date.  Use the calendar to enter the start and end date. (A double click moves the small calendar to the bottom of the page.)
  • Time:  Use the down arrow button to select a start and end time.  This start and end time sets the schedule that appears on the calendar.  Note:  When you create a ticket, the user name along with time stamp is applied.  See bottom of the schedule page.
  • Categories:  Categories appear on the schedule page and on the ticket list search column.  (See ticket list on left side of most pages.)  Categories may be added or edited.  (See Company Setup.)  Use categories to manage your ticket.  Suggestion:  Remove all categories when a ticket is completed.  A category may be added at any time, even after the ticket is completed.
  • Status:  Change the status to meet your needs.
  • Ticket#:  This number will appear under ticket at top of ticket list located on left column.  Ticket number may be changed anytime.  Ticket# appears as a choice on the billing page for Invoice and Purchase Order number.
  • Quick Entry Statements:  The administrator may add, edit or delete quick entry statements.  Use quick entry statements to eliminate repetitive data entry of notes.
  • Notes:  Notes appear on the Summary page.  Ticket schedule notes are not editable.  These notes are saved with user name and time stamp applied.

How to reach this page:

  • Once you have any ticket open select schedule.
  • On the day view of the calendar you can select any time.  (8:00, 8:30 etc.) This will set the calendar day and start time for a new ticket.
  • Select Create a New Ticket located on the left column.
  • Open Schedule page for a ticket directly from the Ticket List page.

End Time:

  • The end time defines the stop time as seen on the calendar view.
  • Any scheduled ticket that is passed the end time will have a color code applied (pink) for quick reference when viewing scheduled tickets open from the ticket list.
