Sales

The sales page is divided into two sections: top and bottom.  The top section provides the invoice line item forms.  The bottom section presents product or service items.  (Product and Service items are created under Product and Service templates found under Company Setup.)

  1. Invoice line item form:

    1. Select the plus (+) to add an invoice line item form.  Select the (x) to remove an invoice line item form.
    2. The data entered on any invoice line may be edited.
    3. Each invoice line item form has an add tax option.
    4. The quantity may be entered as a decimal.  (If the quantity is .10 and the price is 100, the total will be 10.)
    5. A negative may be applied to the quantity and or the price.  (Use a negative on quantity or price; not both.  Two negatives make a positive.)
    6. Tax:

      1. A default tax is set by the administrator under Company Preferences.
      2. Each invoice line item allows you to add or not add tax.
      3. Tax percentage may be adjusted for each sales ticket.
  2. Products and Services:

    1. Product and Service items are created by selecting Products and Services located under Company Setup; Templates.
    2. Product and Service items may provide custom forms for the Worksheet Page. Custom Forms are the fill in the blanks or upload images for ticket completion data.
    3. A selected product or service item will appear as an invoice line item at the top of this page.
    4. Each product or service item may include a default price.
  3. How to open the Sales Page:

    1. Select Sales link at top of page.
    2. Select Sales link from any ticket that is open.
  4. Hint:
      1. You must add a service or product item on the Sales page for any data to appear on the Worksheet page.
      2. Invoice line item data comes from the Sales Page.  You only edit invoice line item data on the Sales Page.
      3. Use the Billing page to present the Sale as an Invoice, Bid, Proposal or Receipt
  5. Note:  The sales page is easy to learn and use.  To help you better use this program remember what is happening.  You want an Invoice.  To get the Invoice you want to manage Billing data.  To have Billing data you need to have a Sale.  To have a sale you would like to have product and service items.  Go Work Order allows you to create Custom Forms for each Product or Service item you offer.  Very few programs offer these advanced features.  Please enjoy.

The Sales page is a primary feature of www.GoWorkOrder.com.  You need to become familiar with how to build a product or service item.  (Company Setup- Templates)
